Apart from our $100 minimum shop charge, tattoo pricing is either set as a fixed rate for the design or charged on an hourly basis for more detailed, custom work. The final price varies depending on factors like size, placement, and design complexity. We always share a transparent estimate during your first consultation.How old do I need to be to get a tattoo in California?
According to California state law, you must be 18 years or older to get a tattoo. This rule is strictly followed, and a valid government-issued photo ID (like a passport or driver’s license) is required at the time of your appointment. Please note that even with parental consent, this legal age requirement cannot be waived.Do you specialize in cover-ups or tattooing over scars?
Yes, our skilled artists are experienced in a range of custom tattoo work, including cover-ups as well as tattooing over fully healed scar tissue. We suggest booking a consultation so we can assess the area and create a tailored design that either blends with or effectively conceals the existing mark.How should I prepare for my tattoo appointment?
To help ensure a smooth and comfortable tattoo session, we suggest preparing in the following way before your appointment. First, make sure you get a full night’s rest and drink plenty of water. Eat a proper meal 1–2 hours before your appointment. Also, choose loose, comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed, and avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medications for at least 24 hours before your appointment.What is your policy on booking deposits?
For custom tattoo designs and confirmed appointments, we require a non-refundable deposit. This deposit is used to reserve your artist’s time slot and is later adjusted against the final cost of your tattoo on the day of your session.How do I properly take care of my new tattoo?
Taking proper care of your new tattoo is essential for maintaining its quality and ensuring it heals well. Follow your artist’s instructions on when to remove the initial bandage, then clean the area gently using lukewarm water and a mild, fragrance-free antibacterial soap. Pat the skin dry and apply a light layer of the advised aftercare ointment. During the healing period, avoid swimming, hot tubs, and direct sun exposure for at least 2–3 weeks.
